University of Buckingham

The University of Buckingham (UB) is the main private college in the United Kingdom working under a regal sanction. It is found inBuckingham, England, and was initially established as the University College at Buckingham (UCB) in 1973. It was conceded college status by illustrious contract in 1983. The college has been firmly connected to Margaret Thatcher. As Education Secretary she regulated the making of the college school in 1973, and as Prime Minister she was instrumental in lifting it to a college in 1983 – in this way making the first private college in the UK. What's more, when she resigned from legislative issues in 1992, she turned into the college's second chancellor, a post she held until 1998.
