University of Gloucestershire

The University of Gloucestershire is a state funded college situated in Gloucestershire, England. It is situated more than three grounds, two in Cheltenham and one in Gloucester, in particular Francis Close Hall, Park and Oxstalls. 



The college follows its history back to the Cheltenham Training College, set up in 1847 by the Reverend Francis Close. In October 2001, Cheltenham and Gloucester College of Higher Education was granted University status. 



The college offers more than 120 college classes and around 70 taught post-graduate courses inside of three resources; Media, Arts and Technology, Business Education and Professional Studies, and Applied Sciences. The college is positioned in the main 20 in the UK for bookkeeping and fund, biosciences, media and photography and film concentrates on. 



A 10-year Memorandum of Understanding exists between the college, Gloucestershire College and South Gloucestershire and Stroud College to bolster access to advanced education
